ABOUT DESHALAMAR
Deshalamar is a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit dedicated to providing help to American Veterans, Victims of Domestic Violence and people affected by Huntington's disease. In an effort to fund their activities they have established a fashion line, Deshalamar, focusing on headwear that is changing way people can rock their locks. In an effort to ramp up their ability to help Veteran in their community they want to host a fashion show, "Locks4Life", featuring Locksdown Fashions to raise money for the building of a VA home in Suffolk County.
LOCKS4LIFE
Locks4Life is Deshalamar's charity fashion show to be held from 6pm-10pm Saturday September 10, 2011 at the Dominican Village 565 Ablany Ave. Amityville, NY. All of the money raised will be used to build an American Vererans Home in Suffulk County, NY.
Why we need $6000
We need $6000 to fund Locks4Life. This budget will pay for the venue, entertainment, food and marketing of the event. While It would be great to raise the entire amount needed for the house we know that times are hard and would be grateful for any contribution you can make. In the event we raaise more than the budget for Locks4Life be assured that any additional money would go directly to our VA fund to build the house. As a non profit we don't have funds to sponsor events like this and we depend on the good nature of people like you who help us make a big differnce in American Veterans lives who have served our country in honor and have come back to face hard times.

I am a honorably discharged American Vet, 82nd Airborne. My Partner is a survivor of Domestic Violence who’s family has been affected by Huntington’s Disease. We teamed up to form our Non-Profit 501 (c) 3
to help make a difference for others who share these issues.
